Reservations and Spa Policies
Reservations
For best availablity spa party reservations should be made at least 72 hours in advance and preferably at least one week in
advance.
Payment
A major credit card is required upon booking to hold the date. Failure to provide a vaild credit card will result in the
cancellation of your appointment date. Checks may also be accepted as a deposit on a case by case basis and at the sole
descretion of The Spa Beyond and a credit card may still be required.
Deposits
For all spa parties, a 20% or $100 (whichever is greater) non-refundable deposit is due at the time of booking to reserve the
date. The remaining balance will be billed 24-72 hours prior to the event depending on group size. Spa parties exceeding
$1500 will require a 50% deposit.
Last Minute Add-Ons
Any last minute upgrades or added services will be billed to the credit card on file. Spa technicians may not receive or
process payment for services.
Cancellations Policy
72 hours notice is required for all cancellations, service changes, or rescheduling. Cancellations made with less than 72
hours notice will result the cleint being charged a Spa Rebooking Fee equal to the amount of the full event fee minus the location fees.
No Show Policy
Individuals or members of a group who do not show for their service will be considered “no show” and will be charged a Spa
Rebooking Fee equal to the amount of the full service charge.
Event Contracts
Some groups may be required to sign an event contract at the time of making the deposit.
Minimums, Gratuities, and Location Fees
There is a four hour minimum on services. There is no minimum party size or party length. Services are billed at $120 per
service hour. This fee also includes an automatic 20% technician gratutity. No other gratuity is expected. A location fee of $50 per technician also applies and is separate from hourly service rate. Please see our Pricing page for more details
Technician Availability
The Spa Beyond is available for spa parties and events 7 days a week between the hours of 9am and 9pm. Spa party reservations are dependent on technician availablitiy and advance notice is reccomended.
Health History
Please inform us at the time of booking if any injuries, illnesses or special needs such as pregnancy are a factor. Your
technician may ask you to fill out a brief health history before your appointment.
Preparing for Your Spa Experience:
Think about where you would like to have your treatments done (indoors or out, in separate rooms or one large room if
having a spa party, etc.) Patios, decks, family rooms and rec rooms are the most common at a residence.
Make sure there is enough room for a massage table. A 6ft by 8ft space is usually sufficient. Decide what kind of tone you would like to create for your spa experience; a quiet and intimate setting vs. something more social or lively.
Plan what you are comfortable wearing and inform your guests of what to bring (robe, bathing suit, etc). Be sure to inform your guests to arrive on time. A mobile spa operates on a tight schedule just like a day spa. Late arrivals will not be compensated for their time. The steady flow of the event is dependent on the cooperation of everyone.
Be prepared to provide:
* Chairs,couches and small tables for your guests to sit on or place items on
* Music and ambience
* Food and refreshments
* Access to sinks, bathrooms, and running water for technicians
Spa party technicians will arrive approximately 30 minutes prior to your spa party to set up and will provide all of the
necessary supplies:
* Massage table
* Portable CD player with relaxing music, or if you prefer you may provide your own music.
* Skin care products for facials, massage oils and lotions, body treatment scrubs, salts, or muds, and nail polish and supplies.
* Towels and sheets.
* Stools or chairs for spa technicans use
